STEAM Camp

What is STEAM Camp?

SGS STEAM Camp is now full. You can register to be on the waiting list, and we will contact you if spaces open up.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. STEAM Camp is a week of scientific investigations, games, crafty projects, and fun! Past sessions have included: Garden Art, Water Machines, Barbie Drag Races, Bioengineering Fun, SteamPunk Pinwheels, Innovators and Engineers, Electronic Bugs, Kitchen Science, Electronic Music, Sci-Fi Movie Making, Sweet Sweet Science, Drawville, DIY Photography, and Wiggle Bots!

Who can attend?

Girls, regardless of their gender assigned at birth, and non-binary students who were assigned female at birth. 

Students should be entering the 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades. You’ll be with SGS teachers and Student Ambassadors working as Counselors (current SGS students and alums).

When?

Monday-Friday, August 12-16, 2024,
9:00am-3:00pm with a short family culmination at 2:30pm on Friday, 8/16. 

How much?

The cost for STEAM camp is $395 per student. Financial aid is available, with a non-refundable $25 application fee.

Refund Policy

Please notify Phelana Pang (ppang@seattlegirlsschool.org) if you need to cancel your registration. Cancellation on or before June 30, 2024 will be fully refunded minus a $25 administrative fee per participant.  Cancellation between July 1 and July 31, 2024 will result in a 50% refund.  Cancellation after July 31 will be non-refundable.
